STARTER

 

  • FRENCH ONION SOUP with red wine & a Welsh rarebit croute.
  • (V) PEAR & STILTON TARTE TATIN, Stilton cream sauce & roasted walnuts.
  • PANSEARED KING SCALLOPS, lardons of crispy chorizo sausage, rich cauliflower puree & golden raison chutney.
  • CONFIT OF DUCK LEG CAKES with a red onion & mango salsa, dressed leaves.
  • HOME SMOKED CHICKEN BREAST sliced into a warm Thai vegetable broth.

 

MAIN COURSE

  • HAKE FILLET cooked in a cabbage leaf with a julienne of vegetables on a mild creamy korma sauce.
  • SHIN OF BEEF braised with real ale and leeks on a creamy horsradish mash with a root veg garnish.
  • SAUTE CHICKEN BREAST with wild mushrooms & smoked bacon, shallot savoy cabbage, roast rosemary new potatoes.
  • (V) ROAST BUTTERNUT SQUASH & PARMESAN POTATO GNOCCHI with beetroot seed, rocket salad & a balsamic reduction.
  • CRISPY ROASTED LOIN OF PORK, apple potato roesti & a pickled walnut sauce.
  • ROASTED RUMP OF LAMB on an aubergene & beef tomato stack with a rosemary & garlic sauce.

  • CARAMALISED BREAD & BUTTER PUDDING with an English custard.
  • PECAN NUT & TREACLE TART with clotted cream.
  • PROFITERALES filled with cream on a pool of chocolate sauce.
  • CHILLED LEMON MOUSSE in a brandy snap basket with fresh raspberries.
